Scott Family Disc Golf Archived NewsSeptember 2010Got ace #13 today at Elon (#2 short). Bob - 09/02/10 No aces at Timmon Park ace race, but I finally got to play Va-Du-Mar course in Boiling Springs, SC on the way back... well worth the trip - it is an excellent course. Bob - 09/04/10 I got a trophy! and 3 new discs (all of them are drivers). I thought the course was hard. My favorite hole was #8. Victoria - 09/07/10 So proud of Debbie & Victoria's incredible performance at the Labor Day Throwdown tournament... after 8 hours of disc golf, they'd posted 2nd round ratings of 842 & 540 on a professional level par 70 course! Bob - 09/07/10 I am excited to announce that Essential Discs of Moorseville, NC is my new sponsor! I am on their Ambassador team. Debbie - 09/10/10 Christian may be the first 4-yr old to complete the Angry Beaver course at Elon (his score was 156). Bob - 09/13/10 I had fun at the tournament today. I did good. I got a bagtag (#53). My favorite hole was #3. Victoria - 09/18/10 Christian just scored an 82 at Elon... from the LONG tees! Bob - 09/20/10 Debbie & Victoria heading to nationals! The action starts at 10am Friday. Bob - 09/22/10 It is a great honor and a blessing to be playing in this tournament with some of the best disc golf women in the world. Debbie - 09/23/10 After 4 rounds at the United States Women's Disc Golf Championships, Debbie has moved into 1st place with a 3-stroke lead over the rest of the division. Bob - 09/25/10 Tori and I won our divisions at the USWDGC!!! AAAAGGGHHHH!!! What a blessing it was to have played in the tournament, but to win it?!? Wow. Debbie - 09/28/10
