Summary

Debbie first played disc golf at UNC-Chapel Hill in September 1995. She began more consistent playing in July 2007 and decided to begin competitive play in April 2010. Debbie has now played 139 courses in 17 states, and has competed in 76 tournaments (winning her division in most of them).

Debbie had played sidearm until June 2010 when she decided she needed to be able to play backhand as well for future growth. Now she plays both very well and has developed a solid all-around game.

After having a very successful Advanced Amateur run, Debbie has reached her goal of turning professional in 2012, accepting a cash prize for the first time on October 14th.

Debbie is on the 2013 Innova Ambassador team (InnovaDiscs.com) and is a public endorcer of Isotonix Champion Blend Plus (DiscGolfChampionBlend.com).

This year her aim is to play in the pro/open division regionally, set up "Disc Golf Basics" clinics and run tournaments.
