Scott Family Disc Golf Archived NewsJune 2012 Debbie - 06/02/12 Started my recovery today by playing a couple rounds at Springfield Elementary. Not able to sidearm yet, but backhands didn't hurt. Bob - 06/05/12 Scott Family Disc Golf will be headed to Carolina Bible Camp today to revitalize the disc golf baskets just in time for camp to begin. Debbie - 06/07/12 It was wonderfully rewarding to fix up the baskets at CBC today. Watching Christian nail a 150 footer sidearm through trees into one of them was awesome too! Bob - 06/07/12 Won Advanced Women in Archdale (a PDGA A Tier Event). Congrats to some of the other divisional winners: Tony Tomasino, Brian Schweberger, Elaine King! Debbie - 06/10/12 Just got Victoria and I signed up for Women's Nationals! This is will be my first real PRO-Open tournament. (little scared) Movin' up time! :-) Debbie - 06/11/12 Bob and I played a round of disc golf at CBC after visiting Tori and on hole 18, Bob gets his 22nd ace! Nicely done. Debbie - 06/12/12 Headed back up to Carolina Bible Camp today to run the disc golf tournament. Then tonight we have the parade of athletes for the Powerade State Games of NC. Debbie - 06/15/12 Just got back from the Powerade State Games of N.C. where Victoria brought home the GOLD medal & Christian brought home the SILVER medal for their divisions. Momma so proud! Debbie - 06/16/12 They have posted round ratings for yesterday's NC State Games. Christian's 1st round rating was 652! Unbelievable for a 6-year old! Bob - 06/17/12 Victoria celebrates her 5-year anniversary for playing disc golf today. Bob - 06/18/12 Nothing like mother/daughter time training for the World Disc Golf Championships... priceless! Debbie - 06/19/12 I'm tired! 21 Hole Salute is the real deal. Debbie - 06/23/12 Shot a 2 under par at Sugaw with Bob this morning. Can I please have a carbon copy of that for World's in a few weeks? Debbie - 06/27/12 Charlotte disc golf Ironman this Saturday and it's supposed to be 104 degrees! Aaaagghhhh. Debbie - 06/28/12 Christian celebrates 5 years of disc golf playing today! Pretty impressive for a 6-year old. Bob - 06/30/12 The Charlotte Ironman is DONE! All the members of our crew survived 5 courses & 105 degrees. Great job James Freeze, Bruce Reynolds & Bob Scott!
