Scott Family Disc Golf Archived NewsJuly 2011 Debbie - 07/02/11 RL Smith disc golf course is the real thing! Wow, what a course! Great design! Thanks to all who have put a lot of time and effort into putting that course together. Debbie - 07/08/11 I shot 10 under at lady's league tonight! It was a 3 disc challenge too. Debbie - 07/11/11 Boys vs. girls in alternating shot doubles (rally scoring) at Nevin this morning. Boys edged out another win 4-3. Bob - 07/13/11 Debbie & I got to do some field training today. I tested out several discs including a Champion Orc that consistently out-distanced my main drivers.? Bob - 07/15/11 We got to enjoy spending time with the G Town DG Club at their Open House today at Bradley DG Course. Bob - 07/16/11 Played Eastway with some friends from church. Lost 2 discs and found 1. Bob - 07/17/11 Apparently kids today can't survive in temps over 90... both melted on dg course and we had to stop play early. Bob - 07/19/11 Debbie & I actually got to play a tourny together today - mixed division for the Sun King Doubles Tournament at Eastway Park. Score (51) Heat index (107) Bob - 07/20/11 What's more frustrating than getting the same disappointing score 5 times in a row on a course? Yep, getting a worse score the 6th time. Curse you Hornet's Nest! Bob - 07/23/11 laughing wildly at Bob's post. 8-D Debbie - 07/23/11 We joined Debbie & Victoria at CBC to help out at the disc golf competition Debbie was running. That evening I shot my best round (11 under) on the course there. Bob - 07/28/11 The upcoming events section of this website has been updated. Bob - 07/30/11 Carolina Bible Camp wk 7, 2011 disc golf events were a great success! There were 18 participants in the following activities: tournament round, distance, accuracy & putting. Thanks to Bob for coming out to run the putting contest, for all the competitors and those who donated discs! Debbie - 07/31/11
