Bob's Notes:

  • Caddy Daddy got to caddy for a 5-year old spooky skeleton today.
  • Christian started on hole #17 with Lisa, Evette, and Christina. Since I wasn't playing, I offered to keep score for everyone.
  • Christian actually shot a 108, but somehow his score on the leaderboard was posted as 88, which beat his sister's actual score by 2 strokes. We straightened it out later, but Christian was awarded 1st place at the time... naturally, he was nowhere close when his name was called (he had run off to the playground without telling anyone).
  • Christian's drives were pretty solid today though they had less distance than he usually does. His putts were still way off (for his ability) and so we started trying to "lay up" more, with mixed results.
  • Temperatures were cooler than anyone had expected and it was quite breezy as well. Once players got a few holes into the round, I think folks were OK, but there were clearly a lot of frozen fingers to start with.
  • We got some nice plastic with our merch bucks and had a great time today. The event did take quite a bit longer than expected though and so messed up our evening plans. Still, it was a great experience and we were so happy to be there to support the Charlotte Ladies League.
