Debbie's Notes:
My second test at being a pro golfer. This time I was head to head with Sarah Cunningham, Elaine King, Michelle Horn and Autumn Grace. I felt I played rather well all three rounds. I noticed that I am only shooting about 5-10 strokes off from Sarah & Elaine, who are some of the top women golfers. So I kind of figured it would come down to a fight for 3rd place. Could I play well enough to hold off Michelle Horn, who just won the worlds amateur masters title and Autumn Grace, who beat me at Tour de Richmond. I pulled it off.
I had three solid rounds and I earned money for the first time as a pro golfer! I won $150 for coming in 3rd. I was speechless. Literally, I forgot to thank my sponsors, everything. I just giggled and sat down with my check. I couldn't believe someone would actually pay me money for playing disc golf. I knew the time would come, but wow! It's here! Pretty awesome!
