I finally get my chance to compete head to head with Meagan Kennedy. She is the last advanced woman in NC that I have not beaten, so it’s ON!! She is a great player and she has beaten me several times. Sue Smith and Sherri Tyler were also there competing. We were playing at Fox Chase in Albemarle. This is my first time playing the very wooded course. We played the short version 2 rounds. After round 1 I was only one shot behind Meagan. Round 2 was my highest rated tournament round on record and I finally beat Meagan on her home course. It was a great launch to the US Woman’s tournament which was played the following weekend. I really like the course and look forward to playing there often.
