Commentaries

Debbie's Notes:

• I was really nervous at Elon as this was only my 2nd tournament. I was a little disappointed as I got par (54) and knew I could do better (particularly on hole #9 which I usually get a "2" on but got a "4" on this time). Also, I got a double-OB on hole #2 since they made it an island hole (never has been before) which I missed by a foot or less.
• I lost my glasses at Elon.
• Round 2 was at Kilbourne. I did OK on this course despite not liking it. I moved up to 4th place which put me on the lead card the rest of the way. Playing with Megan, Emily, and Celicia on the lead card was an enjoyable honor.
• Round 3 was at Reedy Creek and was mostly uneventful.
• Round 4 was at Sugaw Creek. I played awful here (75), but somehow stayed in 4th place by 1 stroke. I had at least 3 OBs on Sugaw and missed so many shots thatI usually make.
• I went to the awards ceremony and still won a disc, even coming in 4th place. I was still pleased to come in 4th place among 8 women in the division.
• The BBQ dinner (by Sam) Friday night was great!
• The player's pack was awesome! It was loaded with great stuff and worth more than the fees to play.
• The tournament overall was put on extremely well and very well organized. Great job CDGC!
