taken from Event Website Come Join Us In Beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina For A "PEEK AT REEDY CREEK". We will be playing the layout that will be played in July at the 2012 PDGA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS. Reedy Creek Disc Golf Course offers golfers a wonderful arena to show off all of their skills. The course is nestled next to Reedy Creek Nature Preserve in a wooded setting where control and accuracy are keys to success. We will be playing two rounds of singles with a lunch break in between. We will be taking orders for lunch during check-in/late registration on the morning of the event. Prizes and Trophies will be awarded after the tournament. Pros are playing for cash payouts, all others will receive merchandise payouts. There will be divisional Closest to the Pin Prizes as well as other fun activities. |

Debbie's Notes:
This one day event followed one of the most awesome days in my disc golf experience, the Woman's Global Event. I just established before the world that I was the #1 ranked advanced amateur woman. Wow. So I'm off to another tournament, on Mother's Day no less.
I was the only adv. lady, so I played on the card with the two intermediate ladies: Paige & Kaitlyn. We had a great time together. I shot pretty well the first round - 57 (915 rated). I had several birdies that offset some of my bogies. The second round was not as hot... I shot a 63 (866 rated.) It was raining the second round and I didn't get those birdies like I did during the first round.
I am glad I went. It was cool to support the club and Justin Banburry did an excellent job TDing this event.
