Debbie's Notes:
VTI (Virginia Team Invitational) was awesome!! I was invited by MJ to play in the tournament Tuesday before the event. It was a real honor to have been chosen as the lady on the team. I drove up with MJ and Sam and we camped at the Grange, but the tournament was held at Hawk Hollow (a working dairy farm.) It was awesome. The property was amazing.
It was set up in a series of matches, played match play for 12 hole each. We played 3 matches on Saturday and the other 2 on Sunday (in the snow mind you!) I won all the Saturday matches, including Victoria Pruitt. I lost my first match on Sunday, but beat Stephanie Miller in my last divisional match. So I was 4 of 5! I couldn't believe I played so well.
We lost the in the semi's, despite winning our division. I actually made $80!! First time earning money. Pretty cool!
The whole experience of VTI was overwhelming! Playing against some of the best disc golf lady's, hangin' with the Charlotte guys. It was a lot of fun!
